Kings are a good team.
Entertaining game (remember last season and earlier this season?)
UFAs (and markstrom and Coleman) not doing their value any harm.
Good effort.
Huby made some real good chances.

- It was a great individual effort by Coleman.
- I'm glad Coleman finally gets some PP time.
- Coleman with 4SHG in the last 9GP, 5SHP, and he's on a pace to score 29 goals this season.
- Solid effort by Markstorm, a couple of great saves by him.
- The Kings game plan worked pretty well in clogging the neutral zone and neutralizing the Kadri line.
- Greer looked outclassed out there on the Lindholm line
- Hanifin would probably like this game back, he played just a little too casually for my liking.
- Lindholm was noticeable, he looks like he is making more plays, especially on the PP.
- Mangiapane - Ruzicka - Dube was mostly invisible
- Great pass by Sharky on the SHG

Perfect time to trade Coleman and Markstrom with the other UFAs
Any rebuild needs good vets to have any chance at success. While I would be fine with moving Markstrom if Conroy got a good deal I would not trade Coleman. I would want him, Backlund, Kadri, Weegar and Anderson here for the rebuild. Those guys along with the young guys and Yegor should not be moved.

Flames players are allergic to being over .500. The effort got better but the Flames were sleeping for the first half of the game.
Mangiapaine, Dube, and Huberdeau really need to look in the mirror and ask themselves if they are doing all they can to help the team win. Those three vets could turn the season around if they get going.
Unpopular opinion in the game thread, but I thought Markstom wasn’t ready to play tonight. He held them in it after they were down, but he put them behind the eight ball early.
LA is a very well coached team. They play with a lot of pace and out-worked us. Hope the Flames can “rebuild” on the fly like they have.
Savard better be skating on thin ice. If your powerplay sucks that hard you're not going to go far.
Yup, it looks worse with Huberdeau not on it either.
If they are going to have Ruzicka on there he should only be in front of the net. He was on the side boards meanwhile Backiund was standing in front, the last player you want there if you want any intimidating presence.

Would personally prefer Pospisil on the second unit than Ruzicka.
