Pretty good attempt there - first bit of pressure for a while.

What the hell Singh? Kadri's chance was one thing but totally ignores Pospsil's chance?

Decent shot attempt - it was labelled far side but Talbot got it.

I’ve started to really like the Kadri contract.

Kadri has been impressive for the last 16-18 games.

Oof, bad giveaway by Backlund there. Almost a killer at the end of the period.

What is with the Refs today? They are literally in the way.

Plenty to build off of that period. Flames aren't close to playing their best so I expect a stronger 2nd.

Merry Christmas CP.

A nice thing about Flames games this year is that they don't seem allergic to coming back. In games like last year. Hopefully they have a good second and third.

I hope the Flames change up their breakouts in the 2nd. The Kings were all over them, but the chances the Flames had, came in transition.

Also just checked how good Kadri has been and he has 23P in the last 25GP.

I don’t think it was an overreaction. Talbot played himself out of town that night.

He’s been solid since then though.

Kings look pretty determined there. It would.bw great for the Flames to pull out a win.

GFG!

Flames had a hard time dealing with the Kings forcheck and pressure game. Along with their speed.

Win or lose, their Gauntlet run accurately reflects the Flames squad on the whole IMO. Just a touch above middling.

What's good about that is, with all the roster turn over about to happen, majority of the positive have come from the futures of this franchise. So it's a solid foundation for a retool.

Hopefully the Flames can counter the Kings 1st with a strong 2nd period.

Of note, the Kings seem to have focused on shutting down the Kadri line and have done really well.

Kings were the better, hungrier, harder working team that period. But also aided by a really weak call which led to their second goal. Flames need to turn the script this period.
