Not a fan of Andersson on the point right now. Soft wide open shots ain’t gonna go in.

Geez. Huberdeau is broken. Has to be the worst passer in the league now.

Huberdeau should shoot there...but he caught Dostal off guard too. If Ruzicka takes the pass it might be a tap in

Team will be in huge trouble without Tanev and Hanifin.

We're currently 21st in the league in goals against per game. Would our D really look that much worse without Hanifin? Keeping Hanifin would just leave the Flames in the middle of the standings.

I would be looking for a D to become the next Makar/Heiskanen/Fox/Josi, not the next Hanifin, before we can contend.

I’m always reluctant to criticize pass versus shoot, though I think he should shoot more in general. But on individual plays, I think we tend to not see the goalie like the puck carrier does. If they’re square, and there’s an open guy like Ruzicka, lots of players think that’s the better option versus having to pick a corner.

You’re right, if Ruzicka accepts that pass (it was a tough one) he has a better shot than Huberdeau at scoring.

The Ducks do not look like a dangerous offensive team.

You can sort of see their team starting to take shape, but they’re not knocking on the door yet.

The execution isn't there with #10, mostly due to him but also chemistry with linemates but the the creative thoughts are still there.
