Moving 2 players who aren't doing anything on their lines, with one going to a line we know he plays well with is a no brainer though.

Mangiapane should go to the Backlund/Coleman line, at least you can get him going. Huberdeau goes to the Lindholm/Sharangovich line and maybe he can get going with a guy who knows how to shoot.

There's no drawback to swapping Huberdeau and Mangiapane. Neither are doing anything and we at least know Mangiapane is good with those two.
Huberdeau - Backlund - Mangiapane
Why does it make it much worse? Mangiapane plays well with Backlund, he had 35 goals a couple of seasons back, so he can be setupbby Huberdeau, and retrieve pucks back.

We already tried Huberdeau - Lindholm - Sharangovich and they didn't generate much of anything this season. Coleman - Lindholm - Sharangovich has the potential to be a great 2 way line, and potentially increase Lindholm's trade value.

Should really be getting Zary transitioning to C as we get closer to the deadline. Easily replaces Lindholm imo.

Meh. The Flames have been playing and winning tough games for the past month.

Because you're putting two guys who are doing nothing on the same line. You can get more out of Mangiapane by putting him with Coleman and Backlund. Coleman has no business being on the top line.

Didn't we only try the Huberdeau - Lindholm - Sharangovich line in the pre-season?bit wasn't for any amount of time during the regular season..Sharangovich wasn't great to start the season and was on the 4th line, now he's shooting well.

Give the guy who shoots the playmaker, not a grinder.
