Yeah, the back reminds me of the Acura Legend back ends circa late 90s.

Really? I personally find the new civic puketastic. Especially the sedan. I don't mind the rear of the coupe, especially with the lip spoiler, but the front is way too Saturn Ion for me. Some people seem to like the new exterior, but I've still never encountered anyone who likes the new cyclopse interior. Honda is usually known for decent interiors, but they completely butchered it.

To me, the Accord looks like a Mazda 3 that got rear-ended by a Chrsyler Intrepid.
I like the new Skyline and G37. I would love owning either of those cars.

I'd buy one if they had somewhere to put the baby seat!

The Mitsubishi Lancer Evo X will be available in Canada in the new year (according to one of the guys at the car show). Probably will be priced around the same as the Subaru WRX STI.
I am looking forward to both this and Nissan GTR.

Is that Corvette sedan for real?
It looks liked a Camry with a giant flag on the front.
Fugly!

They hilarious part is they can't seem to figure out why no one buys domestic cars anymore.

As an Accord Coupe owner who loved the 00-02 models, and loathed the 02-07, I'm welcoming the new bold look. Most recent model year was a bloated mess as far as I was concerned.
I do hope they were able to keep an Accord Coupe hallmark, the roomy back seat that made it a practical car too.
Honda could easily have put out a conservative design - glad they decided to push the envelope. Besides, the photos are too gloss and glammed up - I suspect it'll look lot better in real steel, without all those contrasty curves showing up.
Still my needs are more practical now. I really wish they'd stuff an Accord V6 under the hood of a CRV. Drove one the other day and was extremely dissapointed (but not surprised) at how gutless it was under 3500 rpm. Honda'll lose a lot of sales to RAV4 and even SantaFe if they don't wake up soon.
PS - pretty sure that "Corvette Sedan" was just a gag Photochop. That's the new Impala I believe (see the C pillar badge?)

Why not build a 4-door Corvette?
It can be done; just ask Porsche and Aston Martin

....
Lutz is interested
Porsche isn't alone out there. Let's not forget about one of the stars of the 2006 Detroit auto show. The international and national press tossed truckloads of accolades at the four-door Aston Martin Rapide sedan, basically a stretched DB9. That beautiful car arrives next year.
Also, the four-door Maserati Quattroporte sedan is one hot ride that's available today.
In case you've forgotten, each of those brands started with a reputation for stylish two-seaters but had the courage to expand as the world changed.
I'm not the only one who believes expanding the Corvette line makes a lot of sense. General Motors Vice Chairman Bob Lutz told me that he has had the same notion.
Today, Lutz said, "Porsche is more than a car; it's a brand with coupes, convertibles, crossovers and, in the near future, a four-door sedan.
"You could do the same thing with Corvette."

Exactly, and that's how it should be left.
