I do find it strange when people start attacking his character since the reason why players no longer want to play for him is speculation. It could be because he is an awful person, it could be that they don't like his coaching/communication style or it could be that they don't like the style he wants them to play. Anyone can speculate or hear from people "in the know" but no one on this board is in the room so I don't see a need to speculate or get worked up about rumours unless someone in the organization and directly comes out and says he is an awful person.
There is also no need to say things that are patently false like the game has passed him by or that he is not a good coach. Making false claims plus speculating on what an awful person he is while blaming last year entirely on him just makes the whole thing seem strangely personal.
We should all just move on and talk about how bad Huska is at coaching... lol jk... I think.
|
The attacking anyone who has an opinion about Sutter, is just wrong. And then to allow certain people to bully other posters makes this site look bad, especially when we are complaining about Sutters character but not the individual who is doing the same thing to Cpers.
Nothing wrong with having a strong opinion about something but the constant character attacks on certain individuals doesn't encourage a balanced discussion.

That is not what Huska brings as a coach, moving Tofolli for Sharangovich doesn't do that.
What changes made have turned us into a fun, offensively creative team?
|
Wait!
What?
Are you saying the changes didn't work?
weird
We were pretty much assured that the reason this group missed the playoffs by a couple of points was because they weren't having fun. And the biggest change of the off season was going to bring the fun back.
go figure

When the problem is “not having enough good players”, no amount of deck chair shuffling behind the bench is going to make up for that.
Not in the modern game.

A coin flip? We dominated that series, and sure we lost in the 2nd round but the 18/19 season we didnt come close to winning a round so its not similar.

I don't have any critique of Cami save for the fact she's very "sportsy". That would be expected on any other sports podcast, but this is the Barnburner audience.
Mix in some nacho talk. Get a holiday drink bracket up. Show some kangaroo fail vids!!!

Have they finalized the drinks and the order of when they will be drunk? I am a bit behind on my Barn Burner listening.

Flames had better fancy stats against the Oilers and blew 2 games where they had a 2 goal lead more than halfway through the game and also were tied in another third period where they lost. End of the day it was a 5 game series but if the Flames got a few more saves and the Coleman kick wasn’t called back then it could have easily gone the other way.
Flames also dominated the Stars but faced an all world goaltending performance
