Johnathan Majors wasn't even that good as Kang. He was too over the top. That whole storyline was going nowhere. I thought he was great in Creed, but that was obviously a bit of art imitating life.

Well...I think that was really more about DC having their asses nailed to a wall.
We all know that money talks and they sunk so much into that film. That was an absolute disaster.

Feels like this should be a very easy thing to recast and move on from. Which probably means the whole slate of upcoming movies will be reworked and the stories will trip over themselves explaining away Kang.

Yeah I agree. Kang's whole thing is that there is literally an infinite amount of him in every universe. They don't all have to look alike.
He's also not so engrained in the story that they can't just re-cast him. He was in Ant Man 3 and Loki.
I also wouldn't be surprised to see them shift to a more recognizable Dr. Doom.

If Marvel was smart they'd just drop Kang completely and make Doom the next big bad. Then when they finally beat him, Doom could say "You fail to understand, I was trying to prepare Earth for him..." and cut to a silhouette of Galactus. Easy trilogy of awesomeness if done correctly
