Try the antique mall on Blackfoot. A guy there has a lot of vintage hot wheels

Crud, I do have to go there, too!

My internet searching is telling me this might not be possible though, all I've found are plastic model kits that were made, but not available. Damn rare(undesirable) cars!

I was just at Ella Grace yesterday (the one near Lee Valley) and I was a bit surprised how much toy car stuff they had.

Also worth checking Crossroads Market. Although last time I was in, there was a pretty big turnover in the junk eclectic vendors.

There is a shop (maybe modell land). On 26th ave SW that may carry something like that. I’d speak with them

Are you supposed to make them so they are individual little bubbles? Because otherwise it seems like all the syrup would run off rather than being lovingly embraced by the waffle.

I got a few Mrs. Renfro's sauces at the Safeway in Crowfoot - I don't recall if they had that specific one.

I've seen at new horizon mall before along with the fish pan. Inexpensive online too.

You need some type of propane flame or gas stove to use it. I haven't seen electric bubble waffle pans except on Amazon, but not sure how electric works because you need to create a crust on one side, flip it and let it drop and create the crust on the other side (hence creating a bubble vs a solid waffle).

A hot pot gas stove works in a pinch. A higher BTU top is better if available. Because higher heat means crispier bubble waffles. Preheating is key to avoid the waffle being soggy and deflated vs crisp. Theory wise, similar to Yorkshire pudding (hot pan to crisp outside, moist inside vs soggy throughout if using cold pan).

Yeah, I want a jar for Thursday though and it doesn't look like the website nor Amazon will deliver in time.

Thanks. I am fine with a stove top one. My daughter is crazy about them.

Guessing you already checked "Some Like it Hot" (may be called Hungry Volcano now?) but if not, give them a shout they may have it.

Anyone know where I can get the Vietnamese dessert "Che Banh Lot" in Calgary? There used to be a place next to TNT on 32nd a long long time ago..

They don't list Mrs. Renfro's as a brand they carry.
