A lot of the women in ToS were attractive. This was for a reason. Rodenberry would be what we now call a "Sex pest"

She played some scientist that was taken over by an alien, and then a blind scientist that falls in love with the universe's ugliest lifeform that makes people go blind. I think that was the infamous *Spock has two eyelids" episode.

Is it really debatable who the most loathed character in TNG was? Maybe we were all watching a different TNG then. Pulaski was forgettable, but Crusher was just reviled. You may be the only person for whom this could be up for debate.

He left the regular cast early on in season 4, with only the occasional guest appearance afterwards. Wesley becoming less insufferable basically coincides with him being on fewer episodes.

That could have been fun, but a little advanced for 90s TV.
Something like Jack Crusher was impotent and Picard somehow got involved, theres tons of ways they could have gone.
