He actually had a good game IMO. Was working hard in all zones, was moving His feet and active defensively, generated some chances, and overall was actually noticable in positive ways.
If he'd play like that every night the points will come. But just because he didn't get points doesn't mean he was completley useless.
Honestly Locke you're a better poster than the Huberdeau drive bye hate so far all season.

Okay...fair enough, can we agree that he wasnt worth $10.5M on the night?

If you thought this season would have a happy ending, you haven't been paying attention.
- Yegor Scoringgoalvich with yet another goal - clapper this time
- Zary with a clutch goal to scuttle any comeback thoughts
- Dan Frickin Vladar
- Weegar doing Weegar things
Lots to like

Vladar followed his .938sv% in MIN, with a .939sv% tonight, I can get used to that!
Weegar is on a 21 goal pace on the season, would be the first Flame D to score 20 since Phaneuf
Sarky continues his hot streak, keeps pace with Toffoli scoring against CBJ, only 2 goals back
One of the best periods of the year in the 2nd
Zary found his inner Gaudreau with that clutch goal
Oesterle - Weegar were solid tonight with Oesterle getting 2 apples and being +2 and +3 respectively.
Greer is found money, and the 4th line has been great all night
HM: Coleman, Mangiapane, and Huberdeau, all had good chances tonight
It feels pretty good hearing the Ring of Fire at the end of a Flames game
Mark Giordano circa 2016 might have something to say about that stat.

My wife loves so you think you can dance, I actually remember her from the season when 13 year olds competed, from memory she came in second place and was truthfully robbed, she dominated the whole season, and the boy who won had a good night. Probably would have remembered it if not so impressed that it was a Calgarian nearly winning the American competition.

That may have been sarcastic, I can't tell as I know this board is mostly 35+ and you may not actually know her, but she's probably the most successful artist Calgary has every produced. It's actually really neat that with 50 million view follow up songs and music videos, her biggest is still her standing in downtown Calgary and filming her own music video with the Calgary tower, Telus Sky and Bow tower all featured.
That video has a staggering 228 million views.

Yup. But honestly if people are going to complain every game that's he's not worth $10.5M and make stupid posts about it then it's going to be a long 8 seasons.
