That was a fun one.
One of the nice things about the lowered expectations for this team is the ability to enjoy a good performance/win, but not being all that bothered when you see the other team starting to look like they might come back and take the points away.

I mean, from what I'm seeing is the core that's transitioning out are being replaced with some good quality. Outside of maybe Hanifin(?), I don't see the Flames missing a step moving on.

Not quite Giordano had 21 in that doomed 15-16 season where Jonas Hiller lost his vision and couldnt stop anything.
Definitely agree that he somehow helped Osterle look pretty good tonight. Well deserved win for a team that's deserved some better results lately.

Only got to watch from the Zary goal forward, but I liked the effort. Tampa came hard.
Also got to watch the last 5 of the Oilers game. Anyone outside of the Oilers cult would question why McDavid and Draisaitl are taking shifts together with 4 minutes left in a 5-1 game...and why McDavid was back out there in the last minute.
Nothing says playing for the team like forcing your way out in a lost cause to try and pump up your personal stats. Total losers.
