I was at that game as youngin. I think at one point there was 1 person on one bench and two on the other. What a wild ride.
Best part is the 10 seconds before the clip posted, when Lowry intentionally flips the puck out simply so that Berube (and whoever was in the Ducks penalty box with the coincidental penalty) could get out before the clock. That and the camera catching the Gibert point to tell Berube to stay out.
Was there on a mission to try and make a deal with a team to supply the club i worked for with players that upcoming season (because of the trickle down effect of the approaching lock out).
Night before the actual draft we were at some bar in a downtown hotel where a bunch of the NHL world were gathering to say hello to old friends and make deals.
we were sitting at a table with the London Knights hierarchy (the Hunter brothers, their GM etc and a few retired players) when Berube walked up and just fixated on me for literally no reason I was aware of. (Later found out he mistook me for someone who he had fought somewhere along the way)
But seriously, his eyes seemed pure black with hatred and he is no small man and he wanted to pinata me badly. Dale Hunter and Ray Bourque diffused it quickly and i was there with Jeff Brubaker who wouldnt of allowed much either, but damn if i dont still get chills thinking about it.
Wow that's crazy, he must have been insanely hammered, the Berube I hung with a few times was a soft spoken teddy bear away from the ice.

Dale Hunter between me and Berube is the only reason I wouldn't have died of fright immediately.

"I almost got beaten up by Craig Berube and I all got was this lousy t-shirt"

Blues fans booed Kyrou all game for saying “no comment” when asked about the coach. Kid was in tears in front of media about it after the game.
That would have been hard for him. I don't follow blues but have been reading up on this.
When fans hear "I've got no comment. He's not my coach anymore." And it was said bluntly and unemotionally about a coach that they loved, that just lost his job, by a player that that coach and fans think could have given more.
His postgame interview was about him feeling sad that he got booed. It didn't sound like he wanted to reword his earlier response or say anything positive about chief.
I immediately thought of the Darryl Strawberry Simpsons clip where he is in tears from the fans booing. I feel bad for the kid actually, I've actually never seen this in my life before we're home team crowd was so relentlessly turned on one of their own players. Seems pretty crass.

Maybe David Beckham for a while after the '98 World Cup haha.
