That's my guess.

I guess it’s kind of like the Marner shootout goal from a couple of weeks ago.
Too bad.

Solid loser point. 9th in the Western Conference is within grasp.

Worked is too strong of a word. Wild were the better team in the first, but the ice wasn't that tilted.

To me, it's cut and dry. You cannot touch the puck after the goalie's stopped it. Even if the goalie only gets a slight piece of it, and it looks like it's going in anyway... if the player touches it, they're an idiot because now it's no-goal.
There's no reason I can think of for allowing that goal to count once you acknowledge that it A) was saved by Vladaar and B) was directed into the net by the shooter with thier stick.
Edit: This is where I wish we were privy to the conversations during the review. It's ridiculous that we have to try to guess why they made a call. Also, I'd like to hear if TO said no-goal, but on-ice overruled.

Sharangovich just building that value so he returns a haul when he's dealt at the 2025 deadline..lol

If Tanev and Zadorov are in the lineup, instead of #7 and #8, they probably come home from that road trip with 4 or 5 points. Instead, they come home with 2, despite 3 solid efforts and 3 entertaining games.
Everyone should be happy

Probably the best shot on the team now since Lindholm has clearly lost his

Who had Sharangovich as the first Flame to hit 10 goals?
On pace for 27G and 49P now

My thing is there's still the Ownership "we want 2 playoff home gates" thing hanging over everything. I have zero trust in this organization to allow a bottom 5-10 finish, and fully expect another 16th overall pick.

Zary has now caught Mangiapane, Huberdeau and Backlund in points, with 10 games in his back pocket

I don't get how you can think that. Trading Zadorov sealed their fate. Now they are going to trade Tanev, and when they do, they are a bottom 10 team. There is no resistance to trading Lindholm at that point.

On this trip:
Gilbert + 3 and 16 minutes
DeSimone 0 and 12 minutes
Osterle -1 and 18 minutes
Not a liability by any means.

Imagine Game 1 of the season... no Pelletier injury. Kylington back from his thing. One of the goalies dealt, and Wolf starting. Zary on the team opening night. Not being behind on our payments to the refs, which we obviously are.
What a team that could have been.

Huberdeau is now either tied with or being outscored by half of our defenders. There’s no way the flames let him finish out his contract is there?
At some point you gotta cheese the system like every other team with a terrible contract. Can you LTIR someone for mental health issues, god I hope so.

And then they traded him!
Guy is on pace for near 30 goals and is an effective defensive player; he’s worth WAY more than Toffoli on a far more expensive expiring contract.
