Oilers win 8 in a row. Still not in a playoff spot.
Edmonton is no good.

It really goes to show how thin the margin of error is for them already. losing streaks are inevitable, and they spent their already. They damn near need to be perfect to stay in the race.

Don't you know, they had the best PP ever last season and it's bound to get going again.

Here, here.
Loved Bedard's goal on the No Goods. May he wreak havoc on them for years to come.

Is there anything likeable about that franchise? The thing about McDavid is so true. He's an unlikable whiny loser that looks like he's been addicted to meth for months

Will any one actually miss Connor the person when he regresses? Not sure people really like him if they're being honest, just the entertainment value on the ice (on a lot of skilled but selfish plays).
A good test to show this checks out is take away his elite hockey ability and who gives af about this guy? Would you?
See? But you can't say the same about Sid. Zap his hockey ability and you still have an upstanding guy who is also a good spokesperson.
One would make a great neighbor you could have a beer with. The other you'd shield your children from (if they didn't run away first).

Everyone ripped on Crosby for whining for most of his career.
Here's Don Cherry teeing off on him in 2012 for whining:
https://www.thestar.com/sports/hocke...1aadf6613.html
Jagr was pretty hated as well.
Seems like a very NHL thing to hate on the best player until their skills start to decline and then everyone heaps praise on them.

Hit a sore spot, I see.
At least you indirectly admit to McDavid not having much going for him personality-wise. But attributing it to a "best player effect" is lame and dismissive.
Whining on the ice is something every nhl has indulged in at some point in the heat of the game. But that's not nearly as scathing of a "negative" as the long list any casual, non-oiler, third-party observer could come up with from a short period of naturalistic observation of McDavid.
You guys bear your souls and dollars to a guy who doesn't appear to have to much DNA variation from Dahmer.
No offense.

Well the organization does have a history of internet policing through a third party firm in attempts to control narratives on platforms such as this one (which is hilarious).

When one shares a latitude within 2 degrees of Moscow's, can one not have a ministry of propaganda?

Jagr was hated? Where? Maybe in Edmonton, the only team he never played for.
