That's what I saw too. It's a poor giveaway but he was given absolutely no puck support and no idea what the other 4 guys on the ice are doing for that to end up with a breakaway.

They slow their play down and think too much on the power play. It’s not fluid or energetic, like their 5 on 5 and 4 on 4 play.

Not sure what more the Flames need to see to realize Marc Savard isn't an NHL quality coach right now. I get that he came cheap since he was coaching in Junior, but jeez our PP is pathetic.

Well if there are 3 Knights there, it means someone somewhere is open. Not blaming Huberdeau because he did fight for the puck and didn't have support but the zone entry needed to be different if there are that many Knights in that side of the ice to begin with..
Savard looks unable to adapt to NHL PK's.

That last play is a good example of what's different in Florida vs Calgary for Huberdeau.
He gets the puck in a good spot in the offensive zone...and nobody drives the Center lane and crashes the net.
Coleman kind of slows down and the dman is right on him. Backlund cuts in behind Huberdeau and doesn't really give him an option either.
Huberdeau just has to take a shot that goes off a defender and what should have been an opportunity is just nothing.

He had St. Louis 3rd in the NHL and they didn’t have high end offensive talent outside Tarasanko.
