Really good period for the Flames.

Flames have a 64% xg share 5v5 and 56% overall.

Speaking of the standard for hooking. Zary was just hooked without he puck to prevent him from checking the Knights player exiting the zone. So I guess he standard was not set by these two calls on Mangiapane.

I think it's well deserved.

Tre shouldn't have bullied Mangiapane into signing for his QO of $715k after holding out for most of the off-season in 2019-20.

Then Tre could've offered him a better contract than the $2.4M x 2 over the span of which Mangiapane scored something like 50–55 goals, while being one of our better 2 way players.

Sure, Mangiapane is overpaid this year, but that's a product of him being a bargain on his bridge contract.

Looking back, Tre had done a lot of dumb signing. Look at what he done with Tkachuk, bridge him so he can sign Frolik?
