In the last few games, I have seen him make passes that amazed me. I am seriously wondering if he needs a sniper on his line…someone who can take advantage of those passes. I am actually more disappointed in Lindholm right now, he just seems to be going through the motions

I wouldn't mind seeing Huberdeau-Zary-Coronato just for a game.

See if playing with some young guys can jump start him a bit...seemed to work for Kadri.

A rookie NHL head coach is making occasional mis-steps? How is he even still behind the bench after 25 games?

Avs and Vegas back to back is a great test. These are no doubt the two teams that the west has to pass through on the way to the cup.

I would love to see this. Zary looks like a guy who thinks the game on a high enough level to convert on a lot of what Huberdeau is trying to do.

He is a beast. He can block the puck with his face and not miss a shift. I guess blocking the glass with his face is a bit much though.

Francis reporting that Tanev won't play tonight.

Part of me is like "no #### sherlock" and the other part of me is a bit surprised.

I'm not sure they did that as opposed to not being able to handle the Avs when they cranked it up.

When Mackinnon scored, Huska had his three best defensive forwards out on one line: Lindholm, Backlund and Coleman. Maybe it's a mistake mixing lines at that point, but I'm not sure it's running and gunning.

Going to be an interesting game, especially with Tanev gone. Flames beat the Knights last time they met, but Vegas was also going through a tough stretch of games where they couldn't score. They have scored 17 goals in their last 3 games, and now they are facing the Flames without their best defensive defencemen, and also missing Zadorov who of course has been traded away a few days after these teams met.

Tough challenge. I am basically just hoping for exciting games, and especially like to see solid efforts from the young kids as well as vets that may be traded. Make the games entertaining, and I am happy regardless of the score. It sure feels like the Flames were treading water for a while, but now are starting to sink.

Vegas is not only looking like the best team in the division again, but they are the best team in the league right now, and are playing like it. Let's see how the Flames can match them tonight.

Regarding Huberdeau.

People see what they want to see.
Defensively he doesn’t cheat. Most of the time he is the first one back covering the middle instead of Backs.

Last couple of games he set up so many of his teammates who seemed surprised the puck got to them so yes trying him with guys who can shoot should be the next thing on Huska´s agenda.

You can feel indifferent about losses but fans should never cheer for them.

I'm always cheering for wins! But if they lose, I don't get bent out of shape. I know, more losses are actually better for us. But I don't get how you can watch a game and be bummed out if we score.

Easy to blame the coach? It is always the coaches fault here, not ownership or management for the team to have one 3rd round appearance in 25 years, always the coach!!!

Marek mentioned on his show this morning that it doesn't sound serious for Tanev, just that he wont be playing tonight.

Makes sense on a back to back after a hit like that.

The Flames aren't even in the same tier with the Knights. Like they aren't with Colorado unless the puck is hopping their way.

This should be lesson 12 on the season to instill into Conroy that this team ain't it!

I won't cheer for a loss, but I will cheer for a full rebuild and if that needs to be forced upon the owners, then let it be!
