Would have preferred to see Wolf start this game instead of what will likely be in front of a tired team tomorrow.

Last game was pretty close. Flames outshot them - their backup was very good that game. The Lindholm line wasn't good, the Backlund and Kadri lines were. The difference was 1-0 in PPGs and a goal almost immediately after the Flames tied it.

Three of the Flames centres won their faceoff battles, but Kadri was terrible and at the end of the day it meant the Avs had the edge.

Either way they'll both be brutal tests.

Don't think it mattered much who got which game

Vegas and Colorado will get their looks

How does a blow out help the draft position any more than a one goal regulation loss?

I'd sooner see Coronato in the AHL at this stage of his development. First year pro, patience is needed. He hasn't been effective at even strength, and they haven't given him the opportunity on the PP to use his skillset, so yeah...he should be in the AHL.

Dube, until he can begin moving his game in the right direction, is just a seat warmer.

Zary on the top line! That looks interesting. I liked the chemistry he developed with Kadri, but maybe he could get Lindholm going as well.

I don't see Lindholm's line as the #1. He's been our 3rd best centre this season.

Not sure Zary is going to jumpstart Lindholm. I'd say his issue is having one foot out the door more than general motivation.

Coronato was an emergency recall correct? I'd expect him to go back down tomorrow but weird that he made the trip unless they were unsure if Pospisil would be back in.

Yes, both Wolf and Coronato are on Emergency Loan.

Lindholm and Mangiapane need to pull their heads from where the sun don't shine and show some finish

Zary might be the guy to help them. But those two shouldn't need Zary.

Mang is actually on the Kadri line, which could work to compliment the way Pospisil plays. Personally, I really liked Sharangovich with Zary on the same line.

That's why I don't mind the change, but I expect Lindholm and Kadri to potentially switch spots if we're trailing.

Yeah I would expect the same.

Hopefully the experiment pays off and they don't have to revert.

Forgot Mangi and Lindholm aren't together now.

Who are people blaming for these decisions now that Sutter is not the scapegoat anymore?

I don't mind Dube not scoring if he's angry & fast Dube. He's not even being that guy though.

Just watching for Zary and a few other players at the moment. Every game Zary makes a play or two that makes me rewind and watch it over again a few times. Haven't seen the kind of skill and poise since Gaudreau and Tkachuk. We'll see where he end up as a player, but I think he's gonna be a difference maker.

I might have imagined this, but could’ve sworn I heard that Vladar has the flu and Wolf was starting.
