The plane everyone was following was Robert Herjavek’s from the show dragons den, not Ohtani’s. Hopefully this can be finished in the coming hours, i am getting nervous

Although I do wonder if there is a bit of "there's nothing to see here" going on.
As people have said...Ohtani has been trying to keep this very private, he likely wouldn't love the plane thing being all over the internet.
If he did need to go to Toronto to talk the final pieces of the contract in person, and sign the deal, and maybe do a physical he would have had to fly in before the announcement.
This could actually be Blue Jays org trying to quell all the hype so they can actually close this thing out.
