Would love to steal Jarvis from the Canes.

Exactly. Coaching staff is lost.

Cane getting in front of wolf to try to bat that in unchallenged is unacceptable.
It happens because every defending flame is fixated on the puck carrier and not paying attention to where guys are moving.

When the team plays poorly, every coaching decision looks like a bad one

Glad to see we are really embracing that Huska style of play again, dump pucks away, turn pucks over, and do nothing.

Pretty dumb period of hockey. The Canes are trash but the Flames can’t do anything about it.

Maybe. But I'm not sure why you are giving coaches with zero history of success in the NHL a total pass.
If almost all the players look terrible why would you assume they all aren't trying and it's not an issue with Huska, or Savard on the PP.

We don’t have the personnel to do anything otherwise.

So the first 10 games were Huska's fault, then they played well for a while, and now they're playing poorly again, and it's Huska's fault again.

We don't have the personnel to generate a scoring chance on the powerplay?

Despite possessing the puck more, shots were 10-9 Carolina.
Seems like this team minus Kadri, Zary and Weegar is focused on just killing the clock, with no particular goal in mind.

Watched the Sharks Wings game, earlier.
The Sharks and Wings are , both, considerably more talented than the Flames.
Especially their young guys and top end veterans.
Sharks won, again, after being down 4-0.

When they were playing well they made adjustments to the system and were getting quality high danger scoring chances. Now they are playing the same perimeter low danger crap they did before, that is on the coach.

Tough start. But I have a feeling the naysayers (why do they exist, do people not want good things?) will hush up and disappear by the end of the game.

I have yet to see any empirical evidence that coaches matter.

Were a bottom 5-7 team in terms of offensive talent IMO.

I think teams have adjusted to our breakout and we aren't getting nearly the same rush opportunities or gaining the offensive zone as easily.
We look flat out slow through the neutral zone.
Once again we have a bargain bin coaching staff and this is the result.
Not sure why they will only spend money on a good coach if his name is Daryl Sutter. I'm sure there are other good coaches who aren't total #######s.
