I think we all know what will happen given the events of last night.

Canes aren't looking great, and got spanked by the Oil last night. Yep we aren't winning this one.

Yep, the Hurricanes will be in a foul mood, after their pasting by the Oilers.

Well their goaltending is worse than the Flames. Much worse. When the goaltenders on the other side of the ice are terrible, you always have a chance.

Yes…

It would behest the Flames to be optimally prepared ….mentally, physically and emotionally, from the get go this evening.

It would be a nice change.

Might I direct you to the countless posts year over year about how we make the backups (or unknowns, or opposing goaltenders in general) look like Vezina contenders?

Regardless of seniority or plans for development, I hope Huska puts in whichever goaltender gives the Flames the best chance to win tonight. The veterans need to lead the team with scoring in the first period. Go Flames!

That's always a worry for sure when you have several players where scoring chances die on their stick like Mangiapane and Dube. I really like Coleman but he's had issues cashing in on some pretty good scoring chances this season. Backlund as always struggles to even hit the net with point blank shot opportunities. Yeah it's not really a surprise this team struggles offensively.

Does sound like Wolf gets the start tonight for the Flames (starter's net yesterday at practice) so I will hold out hope! They want to inject some energy into the lineup, aside from that, I'd call up Coronato for tonight.

I know, very unlikely.

I think Wolf deserves a full game. Had to get in last game when everyone was off. Hopefully some, if not all, were able to reset and play a better game tonight for whatever goalie is in. No goalie would have been able to win that game Tuesday night.

Wolf will get a game for sure, but it would be a good move for Vladars confidence to give him another shot. If he falters, Wolf will get even more starts.

Could be an interesting game with two extremely pissed off teams

It's time to show anything Edmonton can do we can do better.
