How the hell does an agent shop for a trade, anyway? It would be like me shopping for a Lamborghini. I can look around all I want, but I have no possible way of closing the deal.

You make a lot of noise and a big stink. Like Z or Alan Walsh.
The GM gets fed up because it blows the team up around a non-issue...and they shop the guy.

the fact that people pay for this stuff blows my mind
there are plenty of ridiculous Oiler takes available for free on HF, SN, TSN, ect.
TSN currently has them ranked above the Jets lol...because they beat them that one time?

Come on, you can't tell me Bouchard shouldn't be in the conversation for the Norris.
The guy is 6th in scoring among defensemen....and 231 for +/-
Heck even if you take out all of the outliers, like guys who have only play a few games it doesn't look good.
Amonst defensemen who have played at least 20 games he is 120 (tied with 6 other guys)/149
He is only better than ~15% of regular defensemen.
PP, he's great,
Playing defense, he's a bottom pairing guy.

Probably a bit of Holland telling Broberg's agent they don't like Broberg but Holland says he's too lazy to do the leg work to find a trade and he knows there's nearly nothing worth it coming back. So he says to Broberg's agent, if you want him to be traded, you go and do the work to find a deal. He would have had Coffee do it, but he's too busy now "teaching" the kids how to skate backwards.
