Greyhound seems like an absolute nightmare to use. I've done a lot of bus trips through SE Asia on my travels and they seem like luxury travel now compared to this

It is. It absolutely is. You'll never find a more wretched hive of scum and villainy. I mean the passengers, the staff, all of it is awful.
Oh I'm totally going to watch this when I get home.
As a former 'Dirty Dawg' employee...this is going to be great, I'm sure of it.
Longest Hound trip I ever did was Calgary to Toronto to Windsor. I wanted to kill myself rather than stay on that Bus another second.
I learned a lot about the world my friends. A great deal of it I didnt want to know.

Oh this is so brilliant.
"Greyhound Employees are unhelpful!"
Oh yeah? You try helping some of these people.
He didnt even make it out of New York before the Cops had to haul a drunk off the bus. Not even 2 hours.
5 hour layover? Would you rather be back on the Bus?
What a wuss! First of all, he bought 2 seats so he wouldnt have to sit next to the guy in the Grateful Dead T-shirt and the F You/MAGA hat. Are your serious? He is traveling in absolute LUXURY!
The driver has a self-contained plexiglass enclosure? Hahahaha! Since when?? Its a brilliant idea, my dad as a driver was assaulted by passengers. Twice!
The New York terminal was 'sketchy and scary?' Hah! Go to the old Calgary Downtown station. They still have those plastic chairs with tiny TVs on the arm-rest that only work if you feed them quarters.
On top of that, they still have the old Tube TVs that give no useful information whatsoever and on top of that, my code to the door to the lanes still worked and I hadnt worked there in 15 years.
And thats Calgary! If you've seen the Edmonton station? Holy lord you'd make a deal with the Devil not to be caught there. And even if you think thats bad...the Toronto and Southern Ontario Stations? Bring your own knife and dont fall asleep.
The Montreal Greyhound station...I dont even know what to say. Try and keep your back against a wall and watch everyone. That place was pure anarchy. It was like 24/7 'The Purge.'
Back to the video. I'm not even half-way through yet!
One of the passengers just got out of prison and was going to a place where he could ride on freight trains across the country.
Yup.
Sounds about right.
My dad drove north and occasionally had people handcuffed to their seat until he got to their destination and the local Police would come aboard and take them.
Yeah...you think thats a comfy ride for everyone else?
Oh and he sleeps in a hotel overnight? So he buys 2 seats and gets a hotel room overnight...this guy....oh...he has ZERO right to complain.
I've done Calgary to Toronto and Calgary to Vancouver on the same goddamned Bus...this guy is a wuss!!
Alright. I'll finish the rest later. This guy is an amateur.

I have zero sympathy for this guy.
I mean, he didnt even do 2 days on the Bus and he got to sleep in a Hotel room, he got a shower, he got a proper meal! He got a break to wander around St. Louis.
What is this guy complaining about? This is like the tamest road trip ever.
"I'm tired, I'm knackered, I'm worn out."
You havent done anything!
The Denver Greyhound station looks amazing! Like someone mops the floor and everything. Its practically pristine.
His biggest problem is that Greyhound is inefficient and often doesnt have enough drivers? No way...absolutely unheard of.
Lots of McDonald's. No kidding. You want to know what the most obnoxious food you can bring on to a bus is? A bucket of KFC.
I'm serious.
"Greyhound treats the Passengers like absolute trash."
I think that was their slogan for a while.
"You need to get somewhere and you dont care how? We'll treat you like crap but we'll get you there! Eventually."
He's just so spoiled by British Coach services. Greyhound is the transport of last resort. You generally dont take it unless you absolutely have no other choice.
If that guy wants to go on some seriously hellish road trips? I can recommend a few.

I drove past this weed that had been decorated the other day and laughed. Turns out it was started by Julie Van Rosendaal (@dinnerwithjulie) and other people added to it.
It's under the train tracks on 11th St south of 9th Ave SE in Inglewood.
