Ake just got absolutely wrecked. Completely embarrassed.

"Have a seat son" says Kulusevsky. Take a seat.

Like I said their defense is pants right now, no matter how good their attack is you are going to struggle conceding 2 or 3 every game.

That was really bad from the ref pulling that back, obvious advantage there.

Pep and Haaland are livid with that last minute call...I mean, I can understand why they're mad, but if one call in Extra Time is what you're focused on then you're missing the big picture.

Well Spurs didn’t deserve anything, but great result. I felt like we were outclassed the entire time, save for a few spells. Onward and upward as the fixtures start to come fast and furious now.

Was Grealish onside there? Like I can see why they’re mad also, and I would be for sure. I wonder how tight it was though.

Two things can be true at once. Man City have major issues right now (their defense, poor finishing), and they still might have won in spite of those if not for poor officiating. Continues to be shocking how bad the standard is in this league.

Oh who knows, maybe he wasnt. But since when have they been calling offside 'as it happens?' They wait for the play to develop and then let VAR figure it out later.

Which would obviously have produced scenes of its own.

Again, regardless of what anyone else says, regardless of the squad or the injuries, etc. if I were a Spurs fan I'd be DELIGHTED with these last few performances. These guys are showing a ton of heart.

Between this and the NHL I'm getting used to low officiating standards.

Like in this instance, and mind you I only saw it as it happened, I havent analyzed it in great detail, but Grealish may or may not have been offside, but by my understanding the ref called play back about 20 yards for the earlier foul rather than playing advantage.

Thats the problem. That, to me, seems about as clear an opportunity to play advantage as you're going to see. Why he blew that down? Well...its going to be the territory of pundits from London to Manchester all week.

Sure, but let’s be honest…that’s a lot of gall for City of all clubs to be complaining about cheating or feeling maligned by the system.

And Spurs stuck to their guns today. Daniel Levy has to back this manager and get some depth in the squad, because these guys are doing everything they can to stick around despite nine players out.

Today their biggest issue was caring.

When they went down 1-0 or when we drew at 1-1 or 2-2 even 3-3 they dominated us to easily get the next goal. Then they stopped and let us back in the game.

If they cared they win that game by 5 or 6 goals but once they went up they seemed to think they did enough and stopped trying.

Yes they likely win if Grealish is allowed to go in but there was no reason they even needed to rely on that if they just out in a full shift today.

He was the worst of them all, missed the sitter any of us could score then just stood around waiting for the City players to walk the ball to him.

Yeah, I dont know how he missed that one considering hes usually very clinical.

Its just that at the end of the game he was doing his 'Angry Vigo' impression.

When Haaland removes that headband...thats when you know he means business!
