ironic looking at your avatar lol

he has played like absolute #### this year...agent said he was the Flames best dman lol. That is why they got a 3rd and a 5th

I hate Putin too but you probably don't want me on the Flames. Zadorov is ridiculously over rated is all.

Whoever gives him 5x5 is going to regret it BIG time

He is fine as a guy, so are a lot of people. I was talking about hockey.

I have no issue with Hughes and like the player , awesome player, but SN pumping his tires all night. On the Lindy goal he and Hronek played poorly - they were at fault in positioning and communication, so much so that the Canucks D coach was in his ear right after on TV . SN makes no mention of that though- just the amazing Canucks narrative. Never change sportsnet.

Zad got a lot of hugs from staff hanging around too

He still isn't great at playing D

Canucks have a high flying offense but there is a reason they have only beaten 3 playoff teams this season. They can't compete with the big boys IMO.

That's a huge coincidence though. That guy in the front row is a Flames fan and had a parent with the last name "Oilers", and the other with the last name "Suck", and I guess the wife didn't take the husbands last name or something.

100% agree. Who would you rather have as a captain, backlund, who gives his personal time, his heart and his soul to charity and his team , or McPoints, who adopts the homeless look, makes a media event of his lavish house and dives like an Olympic competitor. But loser Oiler fans will always talk about scoring titles.

Didn't watch, didn't miss. This should be the story of the season going forward.

Didn't see the Zadorov hug on Backlund on the official youtube Afterhours from Sportsnet. Was it before or after the interview?

-edit 21 minute mark. Shaking hands and hugging all his team mates leaving the locker room behind the interview. Crazy choice of place to hold the interview, saw so much behind the scenes.

Mangiapane is a shadow of the player from 20-21. Where has that version of his game gone? he has sucked for far too long now.

I always said he reminded me of a flash in the pan player. I thought it was risky to throw almost $6M at him by Tre.

No need to let us know going forward
Going into a pgt to tell people you didn’t watch is as lame as it gets

Big Z was fun. Hard to fault a guy for asking for what he wants. These guys only get 1 shot at an NHL career, and it will be over in an instant.

We will always have those huge playoff elimination wins over VAN a la Peplinski, Iggy, Stajan etc.

Epic parts of Flames history.

I think Canucks forwards are too small to compete in playoffs. They will win more games now, but it will be much difficult for them to win in the playoffs. Only chance is they have Demko. But I can't see them to go far.

I'd slide Pospisil down the lineup. After a very hot start he has leveled off a lot. I think his game still suits the fourth line and if he's playing well he can be in the top 9 in the third periods as Huska has been shortening the bench.

Good call. Was thinking the same- Pospisil has been less noticeable in the last few games. Love the player and love what he brings- some edge, which we are lacking aside from Coleman and Greer. We need this type of play and on a consistent basis.

Meh. Nucks have finished their rebuild and are going for it. Can't complain about the Flames trading them a D man for futures and still being competitive against them in a game that could have gone either way. Nice to see the powerplay goals and Lindholm pumping up his trade value.

I am not surprised. Countless players have that early bump where they run on adrenaline and the pure joy of playing at this level, but can't sustain it after every day life and grind of being a player sets in. And that's the real test. Can you keep that up and find ways to make an impact or at least show you can excel in one area/role?

Might have to keep the rotating door moving and get the next guy in here to rekindle that jump. Bring Pospisil up again in a month or so, but give someone else a look there in the meantime.
