My guys have been scuffling lately. However, since his recent call up, Joey Anderson has found chemistry with Jason Dickenson, with Anderson doing the board work, and Dickenson finishing. Our defensive coverage has been no better than dismal, and a firm forecheck will generate chances off of turnovers, especially when the youngsters are out there.

Horrific turnover leads to an early Bedard goal. I see that we returned 2 of the young D-Men I was talking about, Phillips and Kaiser, are returned to Rockford, as Zaitzev and Tinordi are returned from injury. This will help our D cut down on turnovers, but, there is still a weak link, Murphy is horribly overrated, and often out of position.

The Stars are cleaning Tampa Bay's clock. It's 6-1 Dallas partway through the 2nd.

Good.

Murphy takes a stupid, lazy, penalty. Raddysh gets beaten along the boards, Vlasic overcommits to the outside, to help, and gets beaten, and Jones gets caught in-between trying to help out. Tied game.

'Hawks, besides having a wretched PP, give up a lot of SH chances.

Enoch, just don't start planning the parade, you are not an Edmonton fan!

Jets are letting my guys hang around, this is not a winning plan, as the 'Hawks, with some speed, can counter-attack with some success.

Just like they let Edmonton hang around all game and counter gut punch them at the end.

The Rangers-Predators is fun to follow. The Predators had a 2-0 after twenty minutes and then the Rangers woke up. Trochek has 3 points as the Rangers have tied it up at 3-3 with three minutes left in the second period.

Just like in early November, the Red Wings and their fans are once again living through the days of the Original Six league. They are on another streak of three consecutive games against their long time rivals.

It is neat to have a pair of Original Six games on a Saturday night.

The Senators have a 2-0 lead midway through the third period. Shutout win?

Good game in Montreal where the Red Wings have a 4-3 lead.

Tie game in the other Original Six affair.

The surprises would be the Islanders beating the Panthers 4-3 in reg time and the Ducks winning in the SO over the Avs.
The Coyotes and Knights both win by 4-1 scores.
For the Knights, Eichel had 3 points and Thompson was in net again for the win and was 3:14 away from getting a shutout. Jiri Petera was the backup as Hill is injured. The Capitals also had their 3rd string goalie as the backup.

The Coyotes were 3/3 on the PK as they jumped out to a 3-0 lead after the 1st period. Kerfoot had 3 points and Ingram made 31 saves in the win.
