Beyond the Boxscore: Calgary Flames continue to be comeback kids in hard-fought victory over Dallas Stars


The comeback kids did it again as the Calgary Flames overcame early deficits, goal callbacks, whistles being put away and more to defeat the Dallas Stars 4-3 in overtime. A night where many could have used a teammate being traded as a distraction the no excuses attitude continued – business as usual. Ryan Huska deserves heaps of credit for keeping his guys focused and always pushing late into games. The Flames may just be the hardest working third period team in the league this season – they are truly never out of a game.

In case we haven’t mentioned it before, the Calgary Flames have quite a few members of their active roster on expiring contracts. Of those individuals, four of them are what we would classify as prominent players that could net the club significant assets if traded before the March 8, 2024 trade deadline.

I am out of here for the next two weeks hanging out on Florida beaches! Back on the 16th for Tampa Bay/Flames! Tsawwassen and hwy19man have ya covered!

So (from the OP) the Oilers at 9-12-1 are at 51% odds of making the playoffs and the Flames at 10-10-3 are at 31%?

Is that because of difficulty of schedule or??

No Doubt Zadorov will want to make an impression on his new team, so the boys should keep their heads up. Let's hope he finishes -2 with 6 minutes in penalties.

Also pretty funny that the team has its best defensive performance and probably overall game of the season after the loudest guy is sent packing.

Zadorov was no good.
