No I haven’t but as we know both know the truth never gets in the way of a good made up narrative for you.

come on buddy, be honest with yourself...you post 10x more if they are losing or have lost
Hanifin is playing great out there...he could be top pair on a lot of teams right now...you thanked the Oiler fan post saying he wasn't a top pair but he would obviously be top pair for those clowns.

That isn’t true at all. I do not post much in GT or PGT win or lose. But like I said you rarely care about what actually happens.
I don’t have a Rolodex of I formation in posters like you seem to and if I did don’t care who the person cheers for if they post something true.
He was 100% right Hanifin is what he is, teams are making the evaluations on him based on more than the last few games. I think there are very few people who would classify him as a #1 defenseman on anything other than a bottom feeder team.
Who cares if he would be a top pairing guy in the Oilers? It is completely irrelevant to his trade value. Teams aren’t dying to build an Oilers level defense.

Well, if the Athletic rated him #17, that's that then.

The Devil's might not be playoff bound
They just got spanked by the Sharks

Will the real Hanifin please stand up
The Hanifin of the last month is worth what he is asking for
The Hanifin before that is not

I think if the Flames retain Hanifin's cap, and he arranges an extension before the trade, he can potentially have very very high value. Among the most of the pending UFAs this NHL season.

Slightly and they are going in the wrong direction
Point is they certainly aren't a playoff lock

Is Conroy's plan to rebuild the team next 3 years? Then I hope we collect couple of unprotected 1st round pick for 25, 26 drafts.

When was the last time a 1st-round pick in a future season's draft was traded without protection?

Hanifin is what he is. Top 25 player at his position in the world. Prime age. Still hasn't hit his ceiling. Not elite, but in the middle of the next tier. How well he is playing right now doesn't affect his value much, as it is already very high.

August 2022 when Treliving traded Monahan to Montreal. When you look at the conditions, there is a scenario where Montreal could get an unprotected 1st. From Capfriendly:
Quote:
Sub-scenario: CGY’s pick is top 10:
1. If CGY’s pick is 1st overall, MTL will receive CGY’s 2025 3rd, and the better of CGY and FLA’s 2026 1st round pick.
2. If CGY’s pick is 2nd to 10th, MTL receives CGY’s 2025 1st round pick.

I’ve never seen in Hanifins entire time him play like he has in the past month.
Sustained high level and confident. To me that shows that this coach and system is his jam and or he’s grown.
Look at what Gudbranson was in Van vs under Sutter.
He’ll look at Ekman Larson or Bennett in Florida.
What he is showing right now is that it is possible, not just the hope of becoming what he has shown. This past month Hanifins trade value has skyrocketed, just like how Lindholms has fallen.
Hanifin brings back a haul.

That's not an unprotected first. The pick is top-10 protected.
I've never seen a condition where a pick is protected forever. If lottery protection kicks in and the team does not give up its pick in year X, then it gives up its pick in year X+1, lottery or no lottery. The fact that the alternate pick is not itself protected doesn't matter. If it did, there would be no such thing as a protected pick under any of the conditions where the term is actually used.
