Has Byram fallen out of favor in Colorado? Honest question. If I was him I wouldn’t want to be on a team where I don’t see a top pairing opening for me.

Would honestly do Lindholm (50%) for him straight up if possible. I just don’t see it happening.

He's been very injury prone, his play has been a bit inconsistent, and while he still has huge upside it's not nearly as clear if he's ever going to hit that.

If they felt they could get Lindholm re-signed at a solid rate then I think that move for the Avs could make a little sense. 1st might be a little too much on top of everything.
I have no problem with Byram's skill and talent, its' his concussion history and desire to play that scare me off.

Tough news for NJ. Maybe Mercer or Holtz could be available for Hanifin?

Cost for Hanifin is going up by the day. Dude looks like a #1 D right now, forget the #2-3 that the market is attempting to acquire him at.

Lots of guys can look like a #1 for stretches. He's not and the league knows he's not.

But he has top 5 pedigree and entering his prime with all the physical tools that teams covet. He might not be a legit #1 across the board but for instance would be the best Dman on the Oilers but clearly a number 3 on the Avs

Every team in the league would he happy to have Hanifin on the roster. Only a handful that are in win-now mode have the cap space going forward to deal for him (or any other long-term contract at $7mil+).

Funny that you’d make that comment, since he’d be #1 on your team every day!

Hanafin is playing lights out at the moment. 26 years old with over 600 games and just entering prime years for d-men. It's a contract year, so there's that, but 7.5 x 8 years feels like a very good deal right now.

That's nice, I want no part of him. Byram is made of glass.

So many injuries to key players on playoff bound teams. Don’t screw this up Conny!

The Sabres really should have payed up for him in the summer. Two first overall Dmen and they still are a disaster defensively and looking to miss the playoffs yet again. I still think they are a good fit as I would like to nab a picks off a dumpster fire franchise rather than a good one.

And Hanifin hasn't looked like a #1 dman for any stretches.

Devils almost lost Hughes on D last night too, I’d be shocked if he’s not banged up a bit that was a nasty hit.

Flames should have a position of power with Hanifin here which I like.

Yeah, Conroy might be able to get a 2026 2nd for him. *crosses fingers*

You have missed all the recent games...must have because I don't see you in the GT or the PGT after huge comeback wins against the best of the best
