Wouldn't know, didn't read it.

Seravalli is an ambulance chaser, this is right up his alley.

offering judgements against things you don't actually read is a neat hobby.

I've read enough of Seravalli's stuff over the years to know what moves the needle for him.

As for passing judgement without information, there is plenty of it going on in this thread already.

My insiders are telling me that this is what happened.

The team was finishing up a late day off practice, and agreed to order pizza. Seems fine, right? Well this is where #### hits the fan.

After they had placed the order online, Corey Perry took it apon himself to call the pizza place (believed to be dominos but not confirmed) he called to modify the order, and added pineapple and anchovies to all 4 pizzas.

After the pizza arrived, all hell broke lose and the rest is well, history.

This should honestly be jail time, but likely being a sports celebrity means he'll get off without even community service.

The whole team's contracts should be terminated for ordering from Domino's and not the famous Chicago Deep Dish Pizza! I'm sure Bedard clears waiver

The Flames, once again, bent over backwards for the guy to sign him to basically an honorary contract so he could get out from under the suspension, collect a pension and benefits, as they did to protect him time and again when he was here and kept his issues quiet, in signing him, and the ungrateful jerk crapped on them a few months later, again.

All about him, it always has been.

Pineapple, I can see why people would be angry. Anchovies are good though. Anchovies were a staple ingredient in original in Neapolitan pizza when it was developed in the 17th century because of how plentiful they were. The problem is that they are naturally really salty, and even more so after they are cured. You have to match them up with the right ingredients. If you put them on pizza with other salty meats, it's just way too much salt. They also don't pair well with red sauce. If you want a good anchovy pizza, use a garlic butter base, cheese, spinach, tomatoes, and chicken. Or you can pound the anchovies into a paste and use that as the base. If you just throw anchovies onto an random pizza though, you are probably just going to mix incompatible flavours.

It's hard to find anchovies at Domino's these days. It's pretty much up to the individual stores if they want to have them, but the demand isn't there in a lot of markets

Perry says in his statement that he has begun work with mental health and substance abuse experts and denies the rumors that the situation involved a teammate or their families.

Which is why a guy like Rick Westhead has a different job as an investigative reporter. That's why you see guys like him break actual stories. But most media outlets are not funding those roles any more.

But you can't expect the traditional insiders to be the one that break stories like this with any detail.
You can see this tension with Friedman and Vancouver front office after last year (reported on Tochett signing, Bruce there it is firing, etc when mngt was trying to keep a lid on it).

If you are prone to doing stupid sh#t , or walk the line, when you drink then don’t drink. Sometimes you have to learn the hard way.

I am glad that he said something so that hopefully finally people can stop joking at the expense of Bedard's family.
