I haven't been in a bank branch in ages but I needed to, and while I was there I figured I would deposit some cash. THey tell me that branch doesn't deal in cash, they're an "advice center" But they have people inside like a regular bank branch. They just don't handle money. Why are banks making employees come into a branch to give advice? They can do that on the phone or online.
Oh, and the door was locked, and they have to unlock it, and when I asked why, they said for security. If you have no money, what security?

I also broke a tooth about 2 hours ago so that’s something that can happen. lol

lol actually it’s free. Granted purchasing the ticket to get to and from NZ was not free. So maybe included is the better way to state it.
Another reason I like the carriers here, they still include things with your ticket. The rot of American captilism hasnt quite got it fingers into this.

Avgeeking is so easy and cool nowadays with this tech. It's not a gear grinder at all! Back in my day you'd have to go to that one TV channel showing the YYC arrivals and departures, and that wouldn't even show you unexpected things like military arrivals or diversions.

Reminds me of when I was buying something and went into Scotia a couple years ago to get some cash from an account, went to the counter and asked for $2,000. They acted like I was insane and being unreasonable for asking for such a "large" amount. They actually told me they don't keep that kind of money on hand and I would have to call ahead.
Then I stop by CIBC on Sun to hit the ATM and the doors were locked, this was before 6PM.
I swear it's like they're trying to make service worse with every change they make.

Your plane operated Fiji to Auckland and was 1 hour and 21 minutes late.
I'm stumped on the second question, if I could make out the registration I'd have a shot at it.

Apparently they had some issue with radar. Somebody mentioned they had the nose cone off but I missed seeing that. The flight next to us left from gate 7 and went to Shanghai
This concludes my aviation trivia section of my flight. 5:40 mins to go until Vancouver…

Where are these locations? I went to a small RBC yesterday and pulled out 7,000 cash.

Depends on the location. The regular branch I go to is well known for having lots of small businesses as clientele. It's easy to grab cash and USD up to $1500. Over $1500 USD you need to call in advance so that they can restock their cash quickly and have the right types of bills on hand for you and others, but it seems fair to require this as this is a branch in the suburbs. But Canadian cash up to $10K I don't think they ever have an issue with that.

I'd guess a vehicle. Not many things other than higher end recreational equipment for around that price I can think of that you want cash to transact in. Or maybe you have 50 people you need to give $100 for Chinese New Years in a few months plus a few parking lot scalper deals for Christmas presents?

I honestly one day just want to fill a room with $1000 of some type of item and throw a party. I don't think people realize how much stuff $1000 in daily stuff
Like $1000 in candy or snacks or $1000 in mass produced beer or pop/non-alcoholic beverages or $1000 in stuffed animals etc.
