Another one from Mike Flanagan just in time for Spooky Season. It has the same main cast members of Hill House and Bly Manor, and maybe looks a bit more light-hearted than the other ones, and I don't know how I feel about that! He's delivered so far though, so I'll watch it for sure. Add the likes of Mark Hamil and Bruce Greenwood and I'm officially excited!
Has anyone watched Beckham? Kinda interesting, but, each episode is about 15-20 mins too long. Dragged out for no apparent reason and really hammering the same points over and over and over again. Also, he seems to treat his wife today like ####, but I’m not done the show yet.

I'm not a huge fan of Beckham because...Manchester United *spits on ground* but he seems to have a decent sense of humour.

We are about half way through and it’s been pretty good so far!
With these things, I find that how they end matters. Creating suspense often seems to be easier than resolving it effectively
Yeah, I think this might be it for Netflix. I'm leaving the country in 1.5 years for a 1-year leave and I can't wait to cancel everything (streaming, cell phone, etc.). Then when I come back I'll only get what I absolutely need.
I'm glad they didn't make it significantly worse by adding a host or something. So far it's as expected, entertaining and fun.
Yeah it's far better than I expected. And I like the fact that contestants that they are spending time on, are not immune from being eliminated. Keeps the suspense real.
It could use a tighter edit. Needs to be a 45 minute show, not an hour. It's got a little too much filler.
But overall it's pretty fun and stays true to the original series to a pretty high degree.
