The Flames got the bump in energy promoting Pospisil and Zary, but the veterans need to consistently carry this team so we need an improvement in the power play. I hope Savard can figure it out.
Go Flames!

Taking a while to get to 5000

First game back after a road trip is usually awful but I have a feeling that tonight they play with a bunch of energy and win a game a lot of us expect them to lose.

This home stand is a big one. They have to take advantage of it.

GOAT!
|
I would just like, on this most auspicious of mornings, to point out that Blake Goalman is our top goal scorer. Not Elias Lindholm, Johnathan Huberdeau, Andrew Mangiapane, or Nazem Kadri. No sir, it is none other than the 3rd line checking sensation from Dallas, himself!

A tough one if Vegas plays their usual tight checking game.

Trap game. Hopefully they don't play down to their opponent.

No Rasmus on any PP is a good Rasmus.
Just play more 5 on 5.

Hanifin has the hot hand lately, but I think Andersson is still the best available option on the PP. Hopefully Hanifin grabs this opportunity and really does well with it, and goes on a long heater.

I don't know...I think Hanifin is the fit for more modern PPs.
I like Hanifin's ability to move the puck, get pucks through, pinch down low, and walk the line better than Andersson.
Andersson has the better shot, but really that's not how effective PPs score now.

Only switch I would do now is Rosie and Kadri.
Keep Kadri and Zary together.
Looks about as good as it's going to get with the group we have.
