Default Saddledome Suite Food

I'm looking for some recommendations on suite menus as I'm hosting a game in January. It has been a while since I've been in a suite and I honestly don't remember what is good for food. I'm looking mostly at snacks so things like popcorn and nuts (simple enough in terms of quality) and also maybe wings and sliders. Are the wings any good at the Dome? If I get wings should they be regular or breaded? Are the sliders good? What about pizza? What other snacks are decent for an order?

Popcorn is always good, gets munched on all eve
The 7 layer dip and veggie board almost always disappear
Shrimp rolls, brisket sliders and ginger chicken are usually popular
Breaded franks and honey garlic for wings
Pacific rim or lobster Po boys fill out the food depending on guest numbers

Salt and pepper wings, vegetable tray, Asian food (ginger beef, spring rolls), beef sliders, cheese tray - all decent and crowd pleasers.

Pacific rim and Po boys might be a no-go because my kid has seafood allergies.

Yeah, with a large group it is always good to get some of everything. Gluten free, vegan, shellfish free, etc. It’s very likely someone will have allergies or preferences and it is nice when they don’t have to be excluded.

If you need someone to eat the food that no one else wants, so it doesn't look like you made poor choices, I could be available. I get along pretty well with food of all kinds.

Order the bar down package. And then add an a la carte order of 7 layer dip or salsa ($60) or cheese, guac, and salsa ($67).

I am in the minority here with this but if your actually the one footing the bill as opposed to a business expense/company card, I would stay away from a lot of snacks.

It's incredible how expensive the snack list adds up for what is in essence, bar and movie theater food.

Absolutely nothing wrong with ordering a prime rib or the BBQ beef sirloin, some veggies and an appy or something. With snacks, everybody goes wild on the ordering and the cost is almost always much higher.

I have been in the suites enough times to see how often the same mistake is repeated. Another thing that happens is that some people arrive earlier and later and then all that is left is the veggie tray, some popcorn and a cold chicken wing. People looking around where the food is and the host will eventually look at a shocking bill.

I am not suggesting you go thrifty or anything but sometimes a solid plate of food and some drinks is all that is needed.

It's been popcorn and chicken fingers the 4/5 times I've been in a box (pre-covid) - 11 year old me would have thought it was heaven.
