His schtick was annoying and destructive. He would never back up his tweets with his own words and never answered questions when people challenged him on his positions. It was as if he posted his stuff with the intent of getting a rise out of people. Basically he added nothing to this forum.

Are we sure he wasn't just some Russian troll farm bot? All he did was spam the most divisive stuff he could ever find. It didn't even matter the topic, it was always something that would piss everyone off.

Took mods long enough, him constantly being abusive and disrespectful to other people was super annoying and killed legit discussion on so many threads.

Well, I seemed to have a few exchanges with him and frankly they were no more/less thoughtful than a lot of others here. If anything, there were less personal attacks. I always found it odd how easily he could wind some people up though, and it was quite hilarious to me even though I don’t know if I agreed with a single thing he posted.

All that said, I didn’t see what happened in the Israel/Hamas thread and I’ve almost completely avoided that.

Yoho wasn't a bot, his responses were too curated for that for multiple different arguments he was in and posts he thanked. It was fun pulverizing him on this board, his posts and positions deserved it and he came across like an uneducated UCP/GOP/MAGA shill completely out of touch with reality (which can be said about many of their supporters anways). His behaviour in the Alberta Politics thread, and specifically the Israel/Hamas thread, was abhorrent.

People get so worked up over personal attacks like calling each other an idiot but honestly who cares about that, saying someone is less of a person because they can no longer do something they enjoy, that's an actual personal attack

Some people have always tried to defend Yoho despite all the evidence that he acts in bad faith. A lot of that defense was ignoring the terrible behaviour to minimize the argument.

Is it really surprising that after ignoring everything else, Slava has also ignored the behaviour that got Yoho banned as it is indefensible?

Of course, it’s basically a badge of honour to have the two of you whinging about me getting along with people. I just don’t tend to have huge fights and hurl attacks at posters, so I find that while I disagree with people and they disagree with me, it’s not caustic.
