It is when for the last 60 starts you’d be pleased with a league average save % (Markstrom). Its not when you have a better than average goalie having an off night. (Oettinger)
We are not strong enough to often produce wins on nights with below average goaltending.
Case in point. 4-2 Dallas.
Not blaming Markstrom, but we need at least league average save % to compete.
Also when you play in front of a goalie struggling with save % it is very frustrating as you never feel secure. It impacts a lot of the game and even the locker room.
