I’ll take save % as my key indicator.

You could argue GSAx, but over time it will regress to align pretty well with save %.

Also that was not great. And I like Marky MUCH better this year. But it may not be his night.

Of course save% over a season is relevant. It’s not relevant to say “hey that goalie let in 2 shots in the first 7 shots” in a particular game. It might have been a two on one and a powerplay. In a single game, or especially a part of a game, you just look at how the guy plays, not save%.

I haven't seen that at all. Overall he's been really good all season. Some games they've lost when he's been their best player. Even tonight he's made some huge saves.

First one was tipped by his own guy. Maybe still could have blocked it, but not “bad”. The 3rd was a terrific shot - it went post and in. But far nough out where it should have been saved.
