Absolutely nothing yet.
Even team mates were saying they had no idea what was going on.

What in the world are you reading? Releasing is an NFL thing, you can't do that in the NHL.

Maybe he was traded to Deadmonton and just said F'k you I'll retire with my $92m in career earnings before I'll go to that craphole.

That looks very risky. Hopefully they go through with their all in. I think it will backfire spectacularly.
I don't know anything about the source. It could just be the usual BS.

Looks good. Skinner is fine on an NHL calibre defense, and has a great stache
He deserves freedom

I'd probably rather have Carter Hart if I were Philly... great stache not withstanding.

The Oilers really should take the proven veteran in Markstrom for Skinner and a first. I think that would just be better for everyone.

I don't want Skinner, or any other roster player for that matter. I want picks and prospects who don't have that Oilers stank on them yet.

Why would the Flyers be looking to trade Hart, he is the right age for if/when that team becomes a contender.

Oiler stink aside, I like Skinner. Maybe its his stache, but he seems like a good guy (who is also paradoxically No Good). I would do a Skinner and 2024 1st for Markstrom.

Skinner has shown to be capable with some upside. They're just ####ing up his development by exposing him to atom level defensive coverage each night.
I can see the appeal for Philly. That pick will be a good one. Wonder if the Oiler try to top 5 protect it. They'd probably make conditions around them rebounding with Hart in net.

When do you expect the Flyers to become a contender? Because IMO they have to go through a rebuild first. Tortorella will get the most out of a bad team for a couple of years, but his message will get stale in a year or two.
IMO this season for the Flyers is similar to the 2014-15 season for the Flames. That's why I think a good option for them would be to keep going with the initial rebuild plan.

I see Carter Hart has replaced Holtby as the Oiler fans' fantasy goalie who will absolutely be traded to the Oilers really soon because he grew up near Edmonton and surely wants to play for his hometown team.

Don't Flames fans say sort of the same thing about Cale Makar?

People keep forgetting (or refuse to take into consideration) that Markstrom would actually have to want to go to Edmonton.
Why would he want to go to a place that's even more critical on goalies and blames them for everything whether they deserve it or not? Atleast the LA suggestions make more sense because of location and where they are in the standings.

Every player wants to go there. Connor is there. It is just the best place for everyone.

The difference is: - I assume most of those people are joking/wishing based on the whole "he wants to play closer to home" mentality that always seems to work against the Flames and never in their favour (except for all the times it has, like Bouwmeester, Hamonic, Brouwer, Versteeg... okay, maybe we don't want that).
- Even those who suggest Makar could come to Calgary are suggesting he'll sign here as a UFA when his contract is up and not that Colorado is just going to trade him away for no reason.

I'm was banging the Sanheim drum for a while. I was hoping the Flames would buy low in the offseason. Especially since I thought we were going to trade Hanifin.
