Many of these Worth1000 contests are amazing.

Great. Thats what I really needed, another site to waste time on while I'm at work. Thanks.

Locke.

Awesome stuff on there I might add.

I guess because I use Photoshop all day every day at work, none of those were very impressive to me....

Really?

Do you see some flaws or something?

Some of them are too obvious. I've just seen much more impressive Photoshop work done in my industry. Not meaning to take anything away from those pics, its just that if you use Photoshop enough, and see some of the other work out there, stuff like this is less impressive.

Subtlety isn't overly common in many of these photoshop contests, but then I think it is more the style emulation that gets me - how they can take a shot from a different source and alter it so that it looks like it was part of the original and doesn't look pasted in.

I'm sure people who are good enough at this (like yourself) probably get paid to do it. I often wonder where many of the people who submit to these contests come from - are they in school just learning the art, or is it more of a fun hobby?

Frank, are there any online ads where you could point out Photochopping that the average Joe wouldn't even notice?

Edit: LOL, you beat me to it - I said it before, I'll say it again, I type very slowly.
