Hrudey- what a cool pass by forsberg as he switched hands…gives it away to a flame. Good story Kelly.

I like Kelly Hrudy quite a bit. But sometimes I wonder who he thinks his audience is? I am a Calgary Flames fan watching the Calgary Flames broadcast and he keeps talking about how he’s hoping the opposition goalie is going to shake it off.

Like who watching this broadcast is hoping for that?

I’m all about media not being an overt homers… but I wouldn’t mind less active cheering for the Preds players to be doing well.

It's not that weird because Flames fans here have historically started turning against every play by play crew for not being homers, despite making fun of Edmonton's crew for that exact thing.

Rick Ball seems universally liked still at least.

Someone that posted here famously got Loubardias fired ffs.

Big save Markstrom. Zadorov turnover Backlund not watching the front of the net.

He's gotten worse for sure.

Become more of a goalie apologist. And really just seems to fixate on things now and even ifs he's wrong he won't just admit it and will double down.

Perfect example is last game on the Mangiapane goal. He keeps crediting Hanifin for his ability to get pucks through, when he actually didn't get the puck through and it hit the bodies in front but fell favourably for the Flames. Yet even as replay after replay shows that he keeps saying how great Hanifin is at getting pucks through.

Second periods have been rough. Thirds have been good for the Flames so hopefully that stays true tonight.

Seems like a good person. I still think he is trying so hard to not be a homer that all he talks about and praises is the other team.

I'm sure Huska will shorten things up the laat bit of this period and the 3rd. It's been working.

Can't fault our effort just our popgun offense is in tough against Soros. We need a deflection in front kinda goal. Or a shorty.

These officials are so bias. Miss an obvious crosscheck and then a blatant elbow right in front of the official but catch everything we do.
