Flames have pretty much closed the gap now
They're 2 points back with 2 games in hand.

I still hope they trade 3 UFAs for hauls and pick one to extend and help the next gen along (maybe hanifin).

I only have a tourist’s perspective (albeit a musical one too). You must know some great places not on Broadway or Painters Alley.

It’s a waste that they can’t find a goal scorer for Huberdeau
He makes passes that few can

To think the youth movement is helping spark this team and Pelletier and Coronato aren't even playing. I am excite.

			Flames points leaders:
 1. Lindholm 12
 2. Kadri 11
 3. Huberdeau 10

I guess the fan whipping DOES work.

Those aren't up to date.

Should be
Lindholm 13
Kadri 12
Huberdeau 12

			Pelletier is the guy.
This has been the brand of hockey where you go middle or not, it's fun to see. Scrappy, confidence and no quit. Rookies really firing up the lines. Some lines that work well together.

I'd really like to see them say, hey our PP sucks, let's get it 5% better as a start. This is their biggest problem right now.

Hopefully Coronato gets his confidence and comes back blasting

Potential of him and huberdeau coming together after finding their strides excites me.

Yeah, what did Ball say? I think no other team has more players with 3 goals than the Flames, but I was just walking back into the room.

Zary, Pospisil, Pelletier, and Coronato really change the group. Maybe Klapka too.

It's why a lot of people were frustrated the past couple years when some of these youngsters didn't get looks sooner.

One thing that still drives me crazy on the PP....when Andersson and Lindholm just pass back and forth on the RH side and Huberdeau is doing nothing over on the left.
Andersson did it last year with Toffoli too.

He needs to open up his body more to make sure he isn't defaulting to the RH side more which is more natural for him. And use the LH side more.

I wouldn't hate dealing one of vladar/markstrom and giving both guys rotations to show what they can bring.

It certainly makes it more possible logistically when the farm team is just a trot down the hall.

Yeah that was it. Number one in the league in 3 goal scorers.
