Well he did have 64 points last season so it shouldn't be too surprising that he's on a similar pace this season. He's one of those guys that really benefited from a change of scenery.

Yeah, sit Huberdeau when he's starting to get back into form. Smart.

Sit Dube if you like.

The words "Ruzicka" and "play with jam" have never been uttered by a single individual until this post.

Say what you will about Huberdeau's production (which is still 3rd on the team BTW), but he's involved in plays and battles. Can't say the same thing about Ruzicka. He's still got an issue with moving his feet and using his body to get pucks. I keep hoping for something different year after year, but this is just who he is, and it's why he'll always be a fringe NHLer.

I hope Duehr's stint in the press box reminded him of how he got into the NHL. Speed and forechecking, with some skill and shooting the puck when he gets a chance. He's been very passive all year and is in danger of losing his spot unless he brings that assertive play again.

Ruzicka seems like a guy who needs to be scratched every few weeks to kick him in the pants.

Ruzicka is a still a very hit and miss player for me this season. Maybe that's just who he'll be for his entire career. No problem with him sitting a game.

It's a shame he hasn't figured it out. He has tools.

Tomorrow I'm five years away from my inevitable midlife crisis. So, hoping for a 5-3 win.

I'm just hoping they can keep the points streak going. A big fat W would be nice.

Lol Huberdeau with 3 points in the last 2 games, probably his two best games of the season..."Sit Him!"

Flames have been on a bit of a bad streak lately, getting those points.

HUGE 0 points tonight boys - let's go!

The Flames have no 1st, 2nd or 4th lines - just four 3rd lines.

If anything, I would say right now is the time to reward Huberdeau with ice time. Two solid games in a row. I don’t blame him for that untimely high sticking penalty in the last game. He was engaged in the play and doing what he needed to. It’s just one of those things that happens sometimes when you’re playing hard.

Fair enough and I suppose this is the 3rd 3rd line if listed numerically by Center's jersey number

Looked to me (I was in the arena so not a lot of replay on it) that his stick just rode up when he poked at the puck. He even connected with the puck so, almost a followthrough (not on a shot, just an attempted knock on the puck).
