I really think they have locker room issues all the roster moves are ran by McDavid before something gets done. They do anything to keep him thinking they have a chance at false dynasty. What a waste of generational talent
Mcavi only has 5 even strength points this season. We all wondered what would happen when he loses a step. And, well, this is it. Injured or not, he's just not very good right now. The Oilers better hope he's injured. Because if it's just father time catching to him, things aren't looking so rosy for greatest 30th place team ever assembled.
remind this guy he voted Skinner for rookie of the year a few months back
also they sent Cambell to the minors so Skinner could start every game? that is dirty pool and can't be going over very well with the players in the room or around the league

His last line says it all "This is where WE'RE at" like he is an official part of the team instead of a reporter.

It has to be due to his renewed determination to dominate the defensive side of the game.

James Hamblin finally scoring his first goal, then immediately pointing in the sky in honor of his late mother (who recently passed from cancer) was a nice moment.
Then of course the team went on to allow 6 goals, and give up a 2-0 lead, and lose the game.

Oilers
Dylan Holoway: Picked 14th OA in 2020. Has 1 point in 14 games.
Calgary
Connor Zary: Picked 24th OA in 2020. Has 8 points in 8 games.
One of these guys was improperly rushed into the NHL. The other earn his NHL spot based on merit.
I’ve watched a fair bit of Holloway. Kid has wheels and hands but I think he’s lacking confidence right now. The damn oilers are playing him 7 minutes a night on the 4th line.
I think he can be salvaged and if we could get him for Zaddy or Tanev I’d do it.
