If you had a modicum of media literacy, you would have known right away since there's no way the PM of Canada said "nothing" about the events or the murder of a Canadian citizen.
You said this:
Every single aspect of what you said was wrong. You regurgitated obvious lies that were designed by people smarter than you to use you as a useful idiot and you fell for it - again - hook, line and sinker.
Then, somebody had to take the time out of their day to correct you with the actual information so at least there was an honest record with actual facts in this conversation because some of us don't want to let lies hang and fester:
Your response? This nonsense:
"Whitewashed"? Haha, what does that even mean in this context?
And you didn't address the thorough debunking of every single aspect of your post where you proudly displayed your ignorance and inability to properly vet the media you ingest.
Then when I asked you to comment on the debunking, this was your reply:
"Debunked nothing."
lol, everything was debunked.
Don't you understand that? Flapping around telling people to "#### off" and screeching your made-up, incorrect and disproven narrative does not make you right. It makes you ignorant.
So yeah, please acknowledge that you made a mistake in trusting a dubious source, posted incorrect information that was demonstrably from opposite-land, and maybe thank Pepsi for going to the effort of showing you the actual truth so you wouldn't go around looking like a fool for spreading lies.
Or keep doubling down. Just so you know, though, when you do that it doesn't only affect that one post where you are spinning around franticly lashing out because somebody had the audacity to share the truth with you. It affects all your posts. This pattern of behaviour makes you an unreliable poster as people assume you're not equipped to discern fact from fiction and don't respect you or your posts. It's like the boy who cried wolf, but worse because this is real life and not a fictional tale. Also, you're an adult and not a little boy. We expect adults to value honesty and to show integrity.
Thanks for wasting my time, too. Had you just checked your source before posting you would have saved us strangers a good man hour and there wouldn't be this embarrassing record on the internet of you falling for propaganda and then having a total fit when confronted haha.

Yes, I just watched the entire news conference. Both the Post article and my own time-line regarding Trudeau's statements were wrong. I stand corrected and apologize to you and Sliver.

You mean there wasn't a Batman-like Batcave underneath the hospital with advanced weaponry? Shocking that Israel would lie to justify killing civilians

Mark my words, the Liberals will lose the next election and the biggest reasons are, bringing in immigrants with no place to house them and no heath care to serve them.
It pains me that crazy Poilievre will win because of this but Trudeau is complete toast

Off topic, but Trudeau's approval rating is abysmal. I think we would have a housing crisis on our hands regardless of whether Trudeau's immigrant policy was in effect, but his policies have made things much worse. Unless there's a way to solve the housing crisis (and general cost of living issues) quickly, which I don't see, the Liberals are likely done.

The crazy part is that Canada needs lots of immigrants. From a purely economic perspective, Canada has labour shortages in all sorts of fields. The current policy is an open door. As for housing....apparently, that's not the federal governments problem:

I love living in a multi-cultural city, my wife is an immigrant as are many of my friends and co-workers, and even I agree with this. Purposefully targeting record immigration levels in the middle of the worst housing and affordability crisis this country has ever seen is absolute lunacy

The biggest drop in support for ramped-up immigration is actually among recent immigrants. Turns out that the people most affected by soaring housing prices are those who are still struggling to establish themselves in the country. Who would have thought it.

Well theres one way to tell, because Quebec controls its immigration and only recently upped its quota to 50,000 a year from 35,000. And didnt take ANY during the first years of the pandemic.
What are the rents and housing prices like there?

Off topic I know but the problem Canada has with immigration is for a lot of them, the low skilled/low wage labour, is a lack of opportunities and an overall lifestyle.
We might like to dream that Canada is still a magical land where hard work pays off and such but the evidence is pointing to more and more newcomers going back home after trying to establish themselves here. https://www.ctvnews.ca/canada/high-n...tudy-1.6625208
For a lot of people, they can work in essence slave wages back home as opposed to working for $15 an hour, living multiple people in an overly expensive 1 bedroom apartment in large Canadian cities.
Throw in a lack of meaningful growth prospects for a lot of people and they wonder what they are doing here? Years ago, like my grandparents and my parents, you could work hard and be able to do something. Save money, send money home, open a business that was successful, buy a home, buy an investment property, buy an actual investment property like an apartment building, a strip mall, a commercial building and more.
Sorry for the unrelated post

There is a reason the leaders of Hamas are rich.
Everyone who has been sending aid to Gaza has contributed to this problem. It is quite obvious there was zero accountability for the aid, and that a lot of it was stolen by Hamas to build infrastructure to attack Israel.
