I hadn't seen that Erne hit. How the f*** was that ONLY 2 minutes? That is clearly a "5 and a game". Hell, we've had multi-game suspensions this season for similar hits already.

Also, Drysaddle should have gotten at least 2 for pinning the opposing player to the ice off the faceoff move.

If the NHL is going to be this blatantly in the Coilers corner, why don't they just spot them 110 points in the standings and let them rest the rest of the season.

So there have been a ton of incidents already this year including Draisaitl attempt to injure and an elbow to the head and yet these are the 2 that the league doesn't even suspend for 1 game? The NHL is a joke.

The Kraken bench was pissed that the officials let that go as it enabled the tying goal. You have to wonder sometimes about NHL officiating. It's either terribly inconsistent or terribly corrupt. Either way it's terrible.

They've played the last three games against underwhelming teams. The Oilers won them, but frankly they looked like dogshyte most of last night. The real test of the Knob is going to be this Eastern Road trip, it they don't go over .500 these last three games won't matter.

At a minimum, it is McDavid who should have got that financial penalty for his headshot on the Islander player (most players get a game suspension, though). There should have been multiple games for Erne.

There won’t be a hearing. None of Sportsnet’s talking heads even mentioned after the game. Compare that to how they couldn’t shut up about Rasmus Andersson following the game where he hit Laine. It’s the Oilers, the league and Sportsnet’s little darlings.
