Kids were great again. But man, I really don’t know how Huberdeau will be here for 8 more years. He looks replacement level already and it’s year one. I honestly wouldn’t be opposed to sending him to the press box. That contract is going to screw this team for a long time.

Maybe, but at that point in the game, after a call for the Flames, Mangiapane put himself in a position for a call against. It wasn’t too smart. Other than that I thought he played a good game.

They could have got a point out of the Ottawa game too if Zadorov didn't give it away. This game I thought the Flames backchecked well and Markstrom's save off Anderson was incredible.
No one did anything egregiously stupid.

This season isn't about winning for me, I want to see our young players take the next step. I want to move as many players as possible... I do not want to make a push for the playoffs, this year.

The flames need to do anything they can go get rid of Huberdeau. He is unbelievably broken.

Why choose? Do a fire sale and get the 115 points!

Two #### goals and a beauty by Zary. Markstrom with full marks in this game. They couldn’t score on him clean.

Fun game—loosey-goosey back-and-forth in a year that we can afford it.
Given the way the season’s gone, I *really* lament not being able to see Pelletier and Poirier play…both would have received significant minutes in a year that doesn’t ultimately matter, save for providing younger players meaningful developmental NHL minutes…

I suspect that had Pelly been healthy, Huberdeau would be producing much more with him.

WTH is wrong with Gallagher? The trip he did on Lindholm was clearly a trip and the way he went off was more than embarrassing! And then at the end there? Zad should just laugh at him and say "Yah, yah, yeah...you lost, loser!"

Best moment of the game: Lindholm and Coleman on a shorthanded 2-on-0.

I don't know but that was probably the best penalty box tantrum of the year so far.

That’s a case of beer if you go in on a 2-0 and don’t even get a shot.

It's baffling. I'm sure we're all sick of talking about this. But the guy isn't even trying to do effective things anymore. Just a turnover machine. I mean why not just dump it and let a linemate retrieve it and maybe set you up for a play?
