I think you are right. I think a couple things - he expected things to go better and they didn’t and it’s hit him. Plus, I’m not sure about his conditioning. He never stretches a shift (which annoyed me no end when Lucic did it but this seems different).

I wonder how much of some of the guys not signing has impacted him mentally.

He committed right away and probably thought the core would do the same but they all seemed upset and now will get traded.

The pressure, poor play, guys not wanting to stick around probably has crushed his confidence.
