Eliminate the loser point. Don't even bother with points, just have wins and losses and go with win percentage.

10 minutes of 3 on 3. The players will get tired and make mistakes.

I would be interested in not allowing them to bring the puck back past the red line when playing 3 on 3 though.

I don't like 3 on 3 when the game itself is 5 on 5 but 3 on 3 does create some exciting plays when the teams are playing to win and not to just "not lose". Need to end the games quickly and 3 on 3 does create more opportunities to end it.

They should try 10v10 with 2 goalies per team.

2 mins, power play!

It should be forced 6-6 both teams have to pull the goalie.

Well... they do like to see records broken. I think it's time that Hainsworth's record of 22 shutouts in a season is approached. Maybe the NHL does too?

one of the rules we have in men's league for OT is you are not allowed to do a line/player change at a whistle - changes only happen on the fly.
lots of scoring chances when there are tired guys defending!

I like the proposed rule changes.

I think they should have a different rule though, no penalties called in OT... Everything goes, send the other team a message. Turn NHL into WWE in OT.

Force each team to play 3 forwards. Defensemen banned from OT.

There is nothing wrong with a tied game and it cuts out the stupid scenario where some games are worth two points, and others, three.

At this point just put no goalies and make them shoot from center ice into a small target, like shuffleboard. whoever gets the most in 10 shots wins.

I like this proposed change but I also think that 3 on 3 followed by a shootout is totally fine. Everyone hated ties which led us here so there's no point going back to what we hated before. Improvements like this proposed change is what the league should be doing.

A few games would still be worth 3.

Then don't bother with any sort of OT. Everbody has forgotten why nobody liked ties: OT was boring because both teams were playing to not lose the single point, not gain the extra one.

I like the idea of limiting the regrouping.
