Flames won the Rittich trade (and I like Hunt better than Zahorna so that's 2 wins in the last 2 trades). Hell they even arguably won the Colborne trade.

If they are keeping Klingberg and add Big Z we need to make the trade now if they are sending us a 1st.
The defensive miscues by those 2 alone could make that 1st a lot better.

We'll never agree.
The Leafs are currently in the mode to make trades to make them better. I believe Zadorov would make the Leafs better.
I prefer the Leafs don't get better. Pretty simple.

I feel like Klingberg would be part of the return.
Klingberg + 2nd + Abruzzese for Zadorov.
Probably would look something like that TBH.
Then the Flames could prop Klingberg up by having him play top unit PP for the next 3 months and hopefully move him for something at the deadline too.

and then they would have no first to add any really good players at the deadline...not to mention their terrible future
I'm not sure if a first is even realistic but if it is take it and run....and laugh

I could be wrong because NHL GMs often do stupid things, but it's hard to see a 1st for Zadorov unless a camp dump is coming the other way.
