Also to be noted that Coffey has cuddled up to Katz this past year or so, so Holland has no choice but to go along with the owners "assistant".
Given the way Lowe kept trying to bring Coffey in before, I think Lowe is behind the Coffey thing again, and he may be a mouth peice for Lowe now still

Riiiiight...Knoblauch's hiring had nothing to do with him being McDavid's junior coach. So glad to see that the clown show is in no danger of ending anytime soon.

All oilerisms aside, this really isn’t his fault. I don’t think he’s a bad coach. His defence and goaltending is totally mediocre. That’s on the GM. I really hate that hockey insiders seemed to put this team as a SC contender when if you had half a brain you could see the defence was weak. Goaltending was a crapshoot as well and turned out to be awful. All this is on upper management, let’s not mistake that.

McDavid didn't win squat in Junior.
